Our View of Medical Care
Jehovah’s Witnesses actively seek medical care when needed, and many work in the health-care field. We accept the vast majority of treatments available today.—Luke 5:31.
We want to live long and healthy lives. Our religious beliefs promote respect for life and help us prevent many common medical problems. Like anyone else, when we are sick, we seek medical care. We do not believe in faith healing. The type of medical treatment selected is a matter of personal choice.
