Witnesses begin series of “Deliverance at Hand!” conventions today

Jehovah's Witnesses are inviting the public to attend their 2006 “Deliverance at Hand!” conventions, which will be held worldwide. This series of three-day events will begin in the United States on May 26, 2006, and will continue through early September. There will be 266 conventions in 73 cities in the contiguous United States. The sessions promise something of vital interest to all who attend. Find the date and location of the "Deliverance at Hand!" convention nearest you.

The program will emphasize Bible explanations for distressing situations and difficult world conditions as well as the marvelous provision God has made to end all suffering. This year’s theme of deliverance at hand is based on several Bible texts, including Matthew 24:3-8; Luke 21:28; and Romans 6:23.

All are invited to attend free of charge, since there is no admission fee or collection taken at any convention or meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses. There are over 6,600,000 Witnesses associated with over 98,000 congregations worldwide.
