Special edition of Witnesses' journal to explore issue of creation; major distribution planned 
NEW YORK—As the issues surrounding creationism continue to be debated, Jehovah’s Witnesses will distribute a major exploration of the topic in their monthly magazine. The September 2006 issue of Awake! is entirely devoted to the subject, "Is There a Creator?" Other features will include the answer to the question, "Are Jehovah's Witnesses 'Creationists'?" as well as a discussion of whether the Bible teaches that the entire physical creation was produced in six 24-hour days in the article "Does Science Contradict the Genesis Account?" Witnesses will make special efforts to distribute the magazine to teachers and students in addition to the house-to-house evangelizing they are known for. The Witnesses' branch offices worldwide are poised to print extra copies to meet an increased demand for the issue. Awake! has been published continuously by Jehovah's Witnesses for over 60 years.
